East Moline is a city in Rock Island County, Illinois and the county seat is Rock Island. The population at the 2010 census was 21,302. East Moline is one of five Quad Cities. These include Rock Island, East Moline, and the Iowa cities of Davenport and Bettendorf. The population of these Quad cities equalities 381,342. East Moline is a part of a group of riverfront communities (Quad Cities) which provides residents numerous opportunities for recreation. Black Hawk College an WIU campuses are educational centers in East Moline. East Moline is on the banks of the Mississippi River about 160 miles west of Chicago.
