The Corrections Division of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office oversees the operations of the Douglas County Jail. The facility houses individuals arrested by local law enforcement agencies including the DCSO. All inmates are allowed visitation. Each visit is 15 minutes in length. An inmate can have no more than 2 visitors per visit unless approved by the Jail Administrator or Sheriff. Visits are scheduled based on the first letter of an inmate’s last name. Inmates with the last name starting from A through M have visitation on Saturdays and Mondays from 6pm to 8pm. Inmates with the last name starting from N through Z have visitation on Sundays and Tuesdays from 6pm to 8pm.
