The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is responsible for keeping the peace, enforcing laws, and ensuring public safety within the county. The head of the PCSD is Sheriff David E. Greenwood. He serves as the chief law enforcement officer in the county. Chief Deputy Zack Orr is second-in-command, answering directly to the Sheriff. The department is comprised of several divisions including Records/Civil Process, Patrol, and Jail. He oversees the Patrol Division and Contracts. The Patrol Division consists of 9 certified/sworn officers who are responsible for traffic enforcement and criminal investigation.
