The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is responsible for keeping the peace, enforcing laws, and ensuring public safety within the county. The head of the PCSD is Sheriff David E. Greenwood. He serves as the chief law enforcement officer in the county. Chief Deputy Zack Orr is second-in-command, answering directly to the Sheriff. The department is comprised of several divisions including Records/Civil Process, Patrol, and Jail. He oversees the Patrol Division and Contracts. 175th Street in Kinderhook Township will be closed from IL-106 to County Highway 57 today for road repairs. Repairs are anticipated to be completed by approximately 5 p.m. Please avoid this area until the project has been completed.
County Highway 11 South of Pittsfield will be closed starting at 7 AM this morning for a culvert replacement.
