The Corrections Division of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the care and custody of all criminal suspects and individuals convicted of a crime in the county. who are sentenced to jail. The Henry County Jail are allowed visitation through the video visitation program provided by Securus Technolgies. Each visit is 20 minutes in lenght. All inmates are allowed 1 on-site visit a week. Off-site video visitation hours are from Sunday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm.The schedule for onsite visitation is as follows:

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a Corrections Officer. All applicants must have a valid Driver’s License and be 21 years of age. The duties of a Corrections Officer include report writing, transporting and supervising inmates, and assisting the public. Applicants will be required to pass a written test, oral interview, medical and psychological tests, and background investigation. The starting salary is $40,664 along with Life and Health insurance.
