The Corrections Division of the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office oversees the Jerome Combs Detention Center and the Kankakee County Detention Center. The Jail Administrator is Cha Kolitwenzew. The JCDC facility can house up to 456 inmates while the KCDC facility can house a maximum of 244 inmates. The average daily population of the two facilities is 696 inmates.
