Richland County Jail Information

The Richland County Detention Center is responsible for housing individuals who have been arrested by local law enforcement agencies, those awaiting trial, and individuals who have been sentenced to county jail. The facility can hold up to 60 inmates. The inmates are allowed visitation with family members only. Each inmate is allowed one visit per week. Each visit is a minimum of 20 minutes. All visits are a first come, first serve basis. Visitation for female inmates is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9am until 11am. Visitation for male inmates is held on Wednesday and Saturdays from 1pm to 3pm.
