The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Correctional Officer. The salary is $20.81 per hour and the number working hours vary. All applicants must be 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. They must also pass a written test, a physical exam, a medical exam, a polygraph test, a psychological test, and successfully complete a 5-week Illinois Basic Correctional Officer Training class (including the final exam).
