It also assists police agencies as needed such as participation during drug investigations and police communications. Union County Jail Information

The Union County Sheriff’s Office does not maintain a county jail. To house individuals that have been arrested in the county, the department contracts with the Jackson County Jail. Inmates at this facility are allowed 1 free onsite visit per week. Remote visitation is also allowed but not free. Each visit is 30 minutes in length. On-site visits are held on Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm and Saturdays from noon to 3pm. Remote visits are held everyday from 10am to 11pm.
