The Will County Sheriff’s Office provides a variety of law enforcement services to the community through its different divisions which are Enforcement, Corrections, Civil & Court, and Administration. The Enforcement Division is comprised of several sections which include the Patrol Bureau and the Special Operations Bureau. The Patrol Bureau is responsible for conducting preventive patrol in the different areas within the county as well as traffic enforcement and response to calls for service. The Special Operations Bureau is responsible for conducting criminal investigations as well as serving and executing warrants. The department is also responsible for courthouse security and jail operations. The head of the WCSO is Sheriff Mike Kelley.
