Williamson County Sheriff Information
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office provides police services to the citizens of the county. This includes enforcing the law, providing courthouse security, serving warrants and other orders of the court, and responding to calls for service. The department also provides assistance to other law enforcement agencies as needed. The department is comprised of several divisions including Investigations, Special Response Team (SRT), and Corrections. The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is headed by Lieutenant Karl Gusentine. The division is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations o crimes such as burglary, homicide, rape, and robbery. There are 4 criminal investigators in this division. The Special Response Team is comprised of deputies who are trained to deal with high risk or tactical situations such as hostage situation and terrorist threats.
