It tests the world’s first all purpose tractor, the Farmail on this farm. In 1917 the Cook County Prison Farm or the Bridewell Farm began operations in Burr Ridge. The Prison Farm is now a gated community of multi-million-dollar homes. There are 10 major parks in Burr Ridge. The largest park is Burr Ridge Park District.
