Geneva is a city located in Kane County, Illinois. It is the county seat of the county and located on the western side of the Chicago suburbs. As of 2011 the city had a population of 21,707 (according to an official US Census Bureau estimate).

Geneva is located along the scenic Fox River and contains many shops and restaurants. There is an extensive bike trail system in Geneva that includes portions of the Illinois Prairie Path and the Fox River Trail. Geneva has a proud history. In downtown Geneva you can see the Fabyan Windmill (1850), and the Geneva History Center. In 2013 Geneva was nominated by Bloomberg Business Week as the best place to raise a kid in Illinois.
