The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office handles 40,000 calls every year for service and warrants in the County. The Rock Island County Correctional Center has an annual jail population of over 10,000 inmates. The Correctional Center in Rock Island houses local inmates plus Federal inmates. Each inmate is allowed five visitors on his or her list at any one time. Visits are thirty minutes long and there are no exceptions. Deposits for an inmate account must be paid no later than 8:00 p.m. Sunday for that week’s order. You can purchase package of snacks and food items at www.iCareGifts.com.
