West Dundee is a village in Kane County Illinois and the county seat is Geneva. At the 2010 census the population was 7,331. The village is a far west Chicago suburb and lies across the Fox River from East Dundee. West Dundee maintains it quaintness and small-town feeling. There are many historical sites downtown and in surrounding residential neighborhoods. The Village of West Dundee host the mid-September Heritage Fest with is a 3-day celebration with no cost for admission. Live entertainment, fireworks, craft & antique fairs, car show, and carnivals can be enjoyed at this festival.
